1、搭建兔舍。彩色長毛兔以籠養為主。兔籠一般長100厘米、寬60厘米、高45厘米，籠的四角用竹或木做12厘米高的腳。籠舍用竹、木做為宜，籠底材料要求光滑、柔軟。室內溫度要保持在15℃~25℃之間。
